Pricing
Buying timber
What affects the price
Species
Common Cornish hardwoods like ash and sycamore cost less than scarcer ones like elm.
Volume
We are happy to offer discounts based on the volume of timber you buy.
Drying
Green is cheapest and quickest to get hold of; fully air-dried costs more, since it's tied up longer.

Milling services
If you need something milled rather than buying stock outright, price depends on which method the job needs.
Bandsaw milling — at the farm
Priced at £80–100 per hour (depending on species/size), or we can quote for the whole job if you'd rather know the total upfront.
Max log width: 800mm (2ft 7½in)
Chainsaw milling — on site
A little more labour-intensive and time-consuming, but necessary for larger or inaccessible logs. We quote based on location, the tree itself, and how accessible it is.
We can work a few different ways — you keep the wood and pay us per cut, we take the wood, or something in between. Contact us to talk through the options.
