How we do it

01

Sourced, not felled

We don't fell trees. Every tree is already down — windfall, storm damage, or felled by someone else for conservation or safety reasons.

02

Milled to order

Cut to the sizes a commission needs — on the bandsaw at the farm, or with chainsaw mills on site if the log can't be moved.

Air-dried in the yard

Stacked and stickered under cover for as long as it takes. We don't kiln, so a seasoned order is worth planning ahead for.
